‘AFTER WORK AT ANGELOS’ (2024) Behind The Scenes

‘After Work at Angelos’ is my latest short film, which I wrote and directed.

I am beyond proud of this film and each member of the cast and crew who made it possible. It’s an incredibly wonderful thing to hear the words you wrote be performed in front of your eyes, by actors who have become the characters you designed.

‘After Work at Angelos’ follows the repetitive and dull life of Connor. After being scoured, he finds himself mysteriously invited to join a secret underground club, where he finds more than he could have imagined. Brotherhood, family and the exhilarating realisation that he can be whoever he wants to be. But will his new found confidence be the reason for the club’s downfall and the loss of his brothers?

‘Heirloom’ is a short film coming to screens soon.

The film follows the story of a grief stricken family and the journey that each member takes to discovering that all they truly need is one another’s love and support.

One of Heirloom’s shiniest facets is it’s detailed meaning and emotional layering – as a director this is always my number one priority with my art and the stories I tell. Between the symbolism, innovative camera work and attention to character and set design detail, this film perfectly encapsulates a relatable family living a relatable life.
